SŌK® vs OC · No decon · Non-flammable
SŌK® is a water-based, less-lethal compliance gel built for law enforcement, corrections, SWAT, K9 and private security teams. It contains no OC, CS, CN or PAVA. On contact it forces the eyes shut, and the gel transfers to the hands to weaken a subject's grip. Effects last about 2 to 6 minutes and clear with water.
For agencies, that means no decontamination protocol, no contaminated cruiser and no cleared room. Officers can use SŌK indoors, in vehicles, in holding cells and alongside a conducted energy weapon, with no blowback onto partners, K9s or bystanders.

Is SŌK considered a less-lethal tool?
Yes. SŌK is a less-lethal compliance tool, sometimes called non-lethal. It contains no OC, CS, CN or PAVA. On contact it forces the eyes shut, effects last about 2 to 6 minutes, and it clears with water.
Can SŌK be used with a Taser or other CEW?
SŌK is water-based and non-flammable, so there is no fire risk if a subject is tased while SŌK is present. A CEW is still a less-lethal force option, and anyone who is tased should be checked by EMS.
What decontamination is required after a deployment?
A cloth and water. There is no shower protocol or decontamination process for SŌK itself. If irritation continues, flush the eyes with clean water as described in the Safety Data Sheet.
